Terms of service · v 2026.05.14

The terms,
not the small print.

The agreement between you and Second Screen Entertainment Ltd when you use CinAdmin.

These terms govern use of CinAdmin, an operator portal provided by Second Screen Entertainment Ltd (“SSEL”), a company registered in Ireland. By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or authenticating as a player, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
§ 01 / 07

The service

CinAdmin is a B2B operator portal for running augmented-reality gaming sessions inside cinemas and theatres. It is operational software. We do not sell tickets to the public through it and we do not run a marketing channel. All email sent through the platform is transactional and tied to operating an account or a session.

§ 02 / 07

Account types

Operators are organisation-level administrators representing a cinema chain or venue group. Venue admins are invited by operators and manage individual venues. Players are consumers who authenticate to join one AR session in a participating venue.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure, for activity that occurs under your account, and for the accuracy of the information you provide.

§ 03 / 07

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Send unsolicited or bulk messages through any feature of the service.
  • Scrape or extract data outside the interfaces we expressly provide.
  • Automate account creation or bypass invitation flows.
  • Use the player one-time-passcode system for anything other than admitting a player to a single AR session in a participating venue.
  • Interfere with the integrity of the service or probe for vulnerabilities outside a coordinated disclosure process.

We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.

§ 04 / 07

Intellectual property

The CinAdmin platform — software, design, and associated game content — is owned by SSEL or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these terms. You retain ownership of the data you put into the service and grant us the rights necessary to host, process, and display it to operate the service for you.

§ 05 / 07

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, SSEL’s aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the fees paid by your organisation to SSEL in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

§ 06 / 07

Term, termination, and changes

These terms apply for as long as you use the service. You may stop using CinAdmin at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, for non-payment, or where required by law. Provisions intended to survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, governing law) continue to apply after termination.

We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date at the top will reflect any change, and for material changes we will notify account holders by email.

§ 07 / 07

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. The courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except where mandatory consumer-protection rules of your home jurisdiction would otherwise apply.
