Second Screen Entertainment Ltd is an Irish company building shared, real-time augmented-reality experiences for cinemas and theatres. We started from a simple observation: the twenty minutes between the trailers and the feature film is creative whitespace. The lights are down, the audience is settled, and almost nothing is happening on screen. That window — repeated thousands of times a night across the country — is where we play. Our experiences use the phone the audience already has in their pocket as a controller, anchored to the seat they bought, and turn the room into a single multiplayer session that lives and dies with the credits.
CinAdmin is the B2B operator portal cinema and theatre chains use to run all of that. Operators provision their venues, schedule which AR session plays before which film, invite their venue admins, and watch sessions run in real time — seat-by-seat connection status, live scoring, and post-session analytics. Players join by authenticating with their email when they sit down in a participating cinema; the portal coordinates the session, the Unity client running on the screen, and the phones in the room. Our first paying customer, Irish Legend, launches mid-June 2026, with additional venues onboarding through the second half of the year.
